i think it looks hella cool! except for the chicken knobs.while 1 looks good as a varitone etc,but i think 4 is too much chicken

That's the one thing missing from my LP. Some songs I HAVE to use the Ric with that neck position "hot" toaster (about 11K). I know, it's weird using a Ric to get bassier tones, but the post-80s pickups are much hotter and thicker than the traditional 70s "clank". Plus, no capacitor.  ;D

Even an old Rick toaster had plenty of low end at the neck. The cap only affected the bridge pickup circuit.

Didn't Stu Cook at one time put a Rick toaster at the neck of a Fender Precision to get more low end?

I know Roger Glover had one on his non-rev T-bird. Which probably came off the Ric that ended up with dual J pups at the neck. :-/
