Hey Sven, it's nice to have you aboard. Welcome!

Don't even start. Whatever Dutch bikes I still had from my grandfather's stay in The Netherlands in 1941/42 have long been returned to Chris, Rob, Saf and Peter. I'm still waiting for return of our parachutes though!

Now for your basses: Really like the homemade one - some Ripper influence there I think.

As for the pink Jazz ... We have other members here who are relatively relaxed about their more feminine side, maybe you should start a dedicated girls' forum?  ;)

Herzlich willkommen, Sven!

I'm sorry Uwe, but the way Chris rides a bike... He needs a parachute...

As Clark Kent is to Superman, Chris P. Dekker is to Doug Fyghter.

Since we all have a cellphone, there are hardly any phonebooths left in Holland. Therefore we only know Chris as Chris, because there's no place for him to change into Doug anymore.

The homemade bass is fun, it's been compared to Stingrays, Grabbers, Rippers and even Ric3000's. It's basically just the lower half of a Precisionbody and the same shape mirrored for the upper half.

A Jazzbass is a J, so I thought this would be sweet. The matching nut is a mistake. I accidentally put primer on the nut, so I painted it pink as well. Pink basses are always male by the way, ( :gay: but male). I didn't know that, but a girl on the Dutch forum told me (she has a pinkburst Mustang).

Yep, the lack of phone boots make it hard to go into supermodus..

And welcome Sven

Some important things:

I made a deal. Uwe still has some Gibsons with chrome hadware of the Gazelle and Batavus brand. Slowly he's changing everything to black. In the mean time Boilersuit uses the facilities the Germans built at a local airfield as rehearsal space.
That means we're even.

Then my Rickenbacker theorie: A guy I know always wanted a real ES335. When he bought it, he lost interest in playing guitar and he had no dreams left to buy..
So if you want to really bully me: Send me a 4003!

Sounds hot! Do you have a link to pics of this pinkburst Mustang perhaps?
