PS: String spacing is no issue for these as long as you are not outside of the pup.

Sorry I missed so much of this thread.  The holidays were crazy.  Uwe's right on.  I bought 2 sets form the same seller awhile back and mine look to be the real thing as used in LP basses and what not.  Either way, I'm sure they'll sound great in a bass application.
