This is wonderful. I haven't even looked here before this morning.  Per usual, nice work.  It may be unusual, but this might look nice in a Framus-style Black to cherry red burst.  Or natural.  Or regular tobacco burst.  It just looks nice already.
Model One and Schallers?  Ish.

I'm still thinking about the fin too.  I can't decide.  I'm seriously considering a medium amber tint to make it look like an aged natural finish.  How's that sound?

The black-cherry burst is a cool finish.  It might look good on this.  I saw one just yesterday on the Hofner forum and it wasn't bad.

I know you have that "Very-Cherry" issue...  ;)

Good to see you're moving along again.

I vote for medium amber.

Lightyear

Very nice!

How has the stripe in the top done?  Has it aged in any?

I vote for amber with a very muted burst, or darkening, to the sides.

I like the muted amber burst idea.  Here's the red burst I was talking about.............
