Even Robert Halford admits to using autotune live. 

I was talking about Taylor Swift. Just because the Tele Forum guys who automatically hate anything new because it isn't "real" country claim that she does. I don't know. I don't care as long as her fans don't care.

I like Taylor - the fact that she does indeed write her own stuff is even more impressive.  And, I'll bet she doesn't need Autotune on her vocal tracks either 

Funny you should mention that. I heard her single on the radio earlier in the day of the awards show, and I was thinking "I can HEAR the autotune" on certain parts. Then, when she did the same song on the show, those very parts sounded not quite on.  Remember the days before Pro Tools and auto tune?

I just googled Beyonce autotune. Yep. I didn't know because I just can't listen to that kind of singing. Kanye West (IMHO) is even worse.

Her album (Fearless) ain't halfbad either. I listened to a couple of songs yesterday in the car and the production is soothingly organic, not that plastic Mutt Lange sound that makes me wince when I hear Shania Twain's productions. Quite wordy lyrics and of course it's all about love and teenage heartbreak, but it's pulled off with some heart.
