I only saw that movie once, decades ago, but it left a lasting impression. I'm a sucker for Robert Redford/Sydney Pollack stuff.



I even like this here! It gave me goose bumps just watching it again now (actually I have rewatched it twice more today and the goose bumps returned everytime!):



That could have been (probably is) our own Herr Westheimer, you know, who gave up one of his great loves for political convictions (or lack thereof!) too ... How a Che Guevara poster on a refrigerator came to stand between two hearts meant for each other ... sigh! Dave, will you retell the story please for the benefit of the true romantics among us?

The Way We Were... Streisand flick, right? I wouldn't have watched it for that reason alone.

Bonnie and the Che poster, that was a blind date to remember.
