I broke a bone in my foot, at a gig(during the first of three sets), about 2 months ago. Tonight is my first gig without crutches, still have to sit on a stool tho'(for a bit longer). It sucks but you gotta give it time to heal, do what the doc says.

Wow Gary, I'm sorry you're going through this. Let me concur with Uwe and others; give your are the room it needs to heal. You'll be far better off in the long run. Take care, my friend...

Lightyear

Yeah, that really sucks - here's hoping for a speedy recovery and no surgery :)

And, well, this being the place it is - if you do have surgery there's always the hope of hot nurses ;D ;)

Dang, that has to hurt!  Get better!

Reminds me of the old Alan King routine:

"I went to the doctor and told him, Doc, it hurts when I do this (motions with arm)."

"So the doctor said 'don't do that!'"

It's actually cooler here in Ohio than Seattle. Our 5 day forecast tops out at 83° while yours is 92°. Come on down and cool off.

Gary, I hope you have a speedy recovery.

Crap!  As I age I fear I'll be doing similar things as I find myself much more easily distracted.  I hope you recover completely and quickly!  Best wishes!

Henny Youngman was doing that routine when Alan King was still in diapers.  ;D
