A couple nights ago, I tripped and fell, landing on my arm.  I now have a broken elbow.  The radial has a hairline crack down the middle, and I have a chip broken off the ulna.  I find Wednesday if I need surgery.  Today, I'll see if I can still play a little.

Ouch, get well soon and give the break the rest it needs. And if that means abstaining from bass playing, so be it. You won't forget your chops and flash rust will disappear quickly.

I've been through worse.  I was the sole survivor of a head-on collision @45 mph about 28 years ago.  I lost 25% use of my left arm in that, among other things.

Sorry to hear that. Things can always be worse.

Get well soon!

Good luck on the recovery and I hope you can duck the surgery. If not , WTF, like you said , you've been through worse.

Geez Gary what were you thinking mate?  Hope you dont need the op.

I'm now paying for the years of abuse I put my hands through as a climber. Middle knuckle on my left pinky is full of arthritis and gets Voltaren gelled before every gig these days. Nothin' to do, just deal with it and keep movin' forward.

or as uncle Chopper says we all need to "Harden the f*(k up"    8)

Good luck with it mate.
