Van Halen sues Nike

Isn't Ed a little too late with all this?

Only by about twenty years or so.

What a sorry loser Edward has become.
He once was a nice "jongetje" from Nijmegen, but it looks like the alcohol has melted his brain for good.

Are sales of the vintage VH catalogue that bad?  :-\

Yes, the Nike shoes use some of that Frankenstein pattern at the soles, but are they aimed a VH fans like his own design obviously is? Me thinket not. Desperate.

Ed had better watch out. Even if he has managed to register a trademark for that "trade dress" on clothing, he's likely to lose it if it ever gets to trial. He would have to prove that the general buying public (not just EVH fans) would look at the Nike shoe, swoosh logo and all, and confuse it with his company's product. Not gonna happen.
