Well this guy must really love this bass to try to correct so much things to it. Nice player thru.

i have a wish bass as well. ;D mine is a different body style but about the same age. imho there is nothing wrong with a wish, strange body not withstanding. mine has a emg select pickup and is dead quite. the neck is indeed large but not uncomfortable to play and is very stable even without a truss rod. the very early wishes had very tight string spacing but that seems to have been remedied. brian ritchie has some very kind words concerning his 41 inch scale wish contra bass. one bad idea that is easily fixed is that my bass was not grounded as i assume was the case with others. ???

oh yeah, please don't judge wish basses by what you see in that 'other' video posted on the board

Other than that, it sounds nice now. I appreciate the work he put in it.
