Didn't someone from here or the DP have a small gris gris bag he hung from the tail end of his Embassy to help with neck dive? Mark's would just hang a little to the left of there!

You're thinking of fur85 (Mark Furlong), who bought his Embassy from gweimer. He is registered here but hasn't logged in recently. See it here: http://www.markfurlong.org/allthingsbass.htm

Wasn't it Mark F. who bought the purple clown bass for Uwe because the US seller wouldn't ship to Germany? I think I recall a pic of him actually playing it at a gig.

Just had to bring this full circle.................
The seller contacted me with another TRC and pickguard.....................
Sooooooooo, now I'll see about that dress  ;)

Resident T Bird playing Drag Queen www.thenastyhabits.com  "Impülsivê", the new lush fragrance as worn by the unbelievable Fräulein Rômmélle! Traces of black patent leather, Panzer grease, mahogany and model train oil mingle and combust to one sheer sensation ...

I wasn't close enough with Mark F. to know whether he lets it hang left, right or middle, but he did the logistics for my SPCB and played it at a Katharina relief show thus anointing it forever.
We've taken too much for granted ... and all the time it had grown ...
From techno seeds we first planted ... evolved a mind of its own ...

Ooooh... mirror tile finish...  8) drop it and you get a million years bad luck... :o

Staring at that event horizon is a dirty job, but someone has to do it; something's going to come back out of it one day...

Chris Squire had a bag of washers or something on the end of his non-rev (which now belongs to Vincent Gallo, along with some of Squire's other basses) to counteract neck dive.

You could always rout out a section of the body and fill it with lead...

I didn't just say that out loud did I...?

Damn...! I did....!

shh... I'm not here... Uwe will be displeased...

Tommy Stinson did that with at least one T-bird back in the day.

Gotta admit, Dave, that I have thought of using that idea and filling some of the void in my RD to rebalance her...
