I know I've seen this list before because it has Little David Wilkins and this masterpiece.

Don was "Cadet Don Travis" who had a local kiddie show in Houston for several years, IIRC late 50s to mid 60s. Seymour was his space serpent buddy. A great album, I'm sure.

Don is the father of former kid actor Ike Eisenmann.

My apologies, Uwe. I didn't mean to open an old wound. Even as a fan, I had no idea. Apparently Ritchie was able to squash this "Nur Deutschland" cover before too many were pressed. I guess the rift with Gillan started earlier than I thought...
