Looks like he's got the right idea already. He'll be lugging your gear in no time!

GREAT pictures ! Nothing is cooler than getting your kid into music ! Our Daughter Char ( 11 in 6th grade) just had her first concert with the Jazz Band last night. She of course plays bass ;D Her she is walking through the parking lot to the gig with her new Squier Jazz slung across her  back.

Mine are adults already!!

Barklessdog

my daughter about 5 years old (15 now)

My son & the dude at the lakland raising the bottom, in his shorter days (my son). He's now 6' 4" and in pictures its like "who is that little man in the picture?" (I'm 5'11")

A super rare picture of a teenager actually talking on a phone!

Scott had a similar thread running and I mentioned my daughter with my Tequilabird back in '98, which I finally managed to dig out...

Roshina...? "Tapping...?" Heaven forbid...!
... the infamous Tequilabird, then with an EMG Select and a BADASS...

... and then, post my reform gig, I thought, "would she be interested in playing bass...?" after she did some "Roadette" work for us...

So... she's now 15 and taller than her mum...!

setting up for her through my dubious rig... I taught her one of our originals, a simple number without many changes...

Looks like she's enjoying herself... Picked up the basics quite quickly...

Good grief... looks like she's concentrating...

She seems interested but only time will tell - The Hohner is quite light and balances well... She never took to an acoustic we got her a few years back...
We had 2 pianos for a while a decade or so back, which she loved mucking around with - one was cosmetically wrecked and one was reasonable; both were gifted to us; I had to make a decision and junked the "good one" (the wreck but had a cast frame) and kept the one with a wooden frame, so now we have none... I keep meaning to set up another PC for my MIDI trigger keys (keeping it away from my wife's work PC), which she loves, but I have failed to sort out another PC from my junk pile - a project to work on post re-decorating her room, which is another project in hand... :o

Barkless...!  a daughter in a "Tequila" style shirt, and do I notice an RDA hiding at the edge of that shot...? is that EB a minature or is your son THAT BIG...!?
The random mind of a Silver Surfer...
If research was easy, it wouldn't need doing...
Staring at that event horizon is a dirty job, but someone has to do it; something's going to come back out of it one day...

My son Nicholas is now 4 1/2 but I took these picks when he was about 3.

Digresion our specialty!

No problem OP ! Your little one is awful darn cute, bet he keeps you busy ! Ken It does look like your daughter has the knack for the bass, hopefully it has sparked some interest !

Here's my 2 year old son Daan (now 4,5 years) practicing to get ready for Superfloor MKII.
The song you hear is on a dutch kids CD with his mum (Floor) doing lead vocal.

And here's Daan (then age 2) with the kit and kid of our drummer.

And here he is celebrating the arrival of the Orange AD200

And here's 1,5 year old Bas (now almost 3 years) on his first drumkit:
