At first they were much like large garages with double 16-foot overhead doors that stayed open all day. They were originally ice houses, then they started selling dairy and beer from the coolers.

Food, tube testers and Slurpees were just evolutionary changes.

Yeah, when I was a kid all they had was water flavored popsicles ......and that was pretty boring.

We never bought water flavored popsicles from 7-11. We made our own and put them in little trays in the freezer. They can be very tasty if you pour just the right amount of bourbon or scotch over them.
