This originally was meant as a Rasta Frank reggae version of this song (you can still hear my intentions in the vocals) but as the recording progressed it began to sound more and more like the original so I decided to go with the flow and finish the song in the funk way it should be. I make a mistake going to the solo but it left it in there.
The instruments used were my Ovation Pinnacle electro acoustic guitar, my Yamaha PSR 2500 keyboard, my custom Jan Knooren five string bass guitar and my Tokai Goldstar sound stratocaster copy. All of it was recorded using my Line6 Toneport and Ableton software.
I hope you guys like my version, I had a blast recording it and it shows.
