I'm recording three songs with my second band The La La Lies. The song will appear on www.myspace.com/thelalalies within some week, but of course I'll keep in touch about that! As always I record with the Thunderbird.

Today the Bird was on a stand an the BaCH at the wall. Today we onlu did guitars and drums, so I do bass tomorrow. (I did some guiding bass friday night.) So I have the BaCH with me and tomorrow I'll try both birds out and decide which one to use.

In the end I just used the '76 Thunderbird only. The only reason is that I'm so used to that bass. It just feels good.

But I did a good A/B test of both Birds and again, the BaCH sounds awful goog!! Very much like the '76er but with a bit fatter bottom. The '756 is a MidMonster and the BaCH has some warmer lows. But definately family. Both sound great on a high volume Hiwatt.

Maybe I use the BaCH for our vid.

Rob: We weren't happy with some things, so I rerecorded both songs... using the BaCHBird. So you'll hear some songs with your baby in it soon:) I went to Haarlem by train and I thought it would be saver to keep the Bicentennial at home and the BaCH sure sounds really good!

Yesterday we shot a vid for one of the two The La La Lies songs. Of course I'll post a link to the vid if it's ready and on YouTube. Can take some weeks... I used the Bicentennial for the vid. Here are some pics of yesterday:
