My mate Tim owns the local music shop and carries the Duesenberg basses but I have to admit I have never tried one.

I haven't played one, but they had good reviews in bass magazines.
We've taken too much for granted ... and all the time it had grown ...
From techno seeds we first planted ... evolved a mind of its own ...

That's hideous (IMHO of course). It's sort of like a Fender JP-90 only even uglier.

I actually don't mind that retro look ..... kind of a cross between a Reverend and a Charvel Surfcaster. However, $2000 is WAY too much.
"I think it's only proper that I play until the last note of a set, then fall over and die. The band won't have to play an encore and they'll still get paid for the gig" (Dr. John)

I just resent the whole made up brand. It reminds me of Kawasaki Guitars years back, nothing to do with Kawasaki, just a name.

Why not a Bugatti bass?

Chris P.

You can argue about the name, but Duesenberg makes great, high quality guitars and basses and in Europe you see a lot of pro's playing them.

Dave W

The name doesn't bother me. The styling of this particular model would keep me from ever considering it.
