Here I am rocking my skull bandana and my Red explorer.

Let me play that solo for you.

Here I am playing the "intoom" punk and metal festival with the band "The Worst" in 2004.

Before any of you starts complaining about me only playing guitar, here I am playing bass with the band Format brain somewhere in 2000, the guy standing next to me is Jack T Ripper, who again joined musical forces with me in my current band Slavantas.

And finally one from the vault, 1991 my second gig ever.

Looking at the many pics of mild-mannered middle-aged men, I begin to wonder whether we don't need some new blood?  Perhaps start a Bass Outpost Boy Scouts group? Mark would look splendid with his pig-tails in a boy scout uniform and engender parental trust.

Uwe

Hey, I was a Boy Scout!  never worked at it hard enough to progress past Life, but I enjoyed the company and camping the most.

And thanks for the "Uwe exemption" for the Fender shot....

29 to old to R&R oh come on, I'm almost 50 and still pull on the leather pants.

Ok, I admit it, that was a joke. Here is one pic of me from a rehearsal.

And one more in the greek country riding a Kreidler Florett, a brilliant piece of german engineering.
Uwe, that's for you.

Don't be stupid, be a smartie - come and join die schwarze Hardware party!

From 1992 with my first own bass, a Grabber:

'95. Fender bug hit me, sold the Grabber and bought a Precision Special. I had to learn playing with the right hand fingers for this gig after a motorcycle accident (military service):

'05. Back to Gibsons:

'08. Are'nt those rhythm guitarists annoying?  ;D

Here's me at my "day job" conducting my high school choir in the round:

Me with one my musical heroes, John Doe from last week:

Oh yeah, and me playing something called a bass (working on getting a Gibson pic):
