The temperature here in Adelaide today has been forecast as 111 F (44C) and at 9.00am its already 102 F (39C).

Man its hot!

hey mr cat , .... small world , i live in adelaide SA too ..... i wonder if we know each other , i'm a pretty active player on the local scene .... blues , jazz , .....

yeh , not very pleasant is it ! thank goodness for airconditioning , although i have heard that there are power blackouts across the state , .... now that would be terrible !

..and the forecast is that its gonna be like this the next 2-3 days ....

In Dallas, Texas it is just the opposite. High was 34. Ice storm tonight, may get to stay home tomorrow......

Fricken' snowed here today..............We've had (no exageration) 17 inches in the Seattle area this year. Not much compared to where Scott (GoT59 or Barkless Dog) John live, but we have a much, much higher idiot factor here............

Just hit 113 F (45 C)shortly after midday.

The high in my part of southern california was 65 today and the rest of the week is supposed to be in the mid 70s and lows in the 40s.

Sheesh Bret, that is hot!

I went to work this morning on my bicycle and my fingers were frozen when I arrived. It's c-c-c-cold in The Netherlands.
Can't wait till spring comes.

we got more of 44 C temps tomorrow and next day , us humans are lucky , we can stay cool in our houses ,
i really feel for the poor birds and animals out in this heat , it must really be distressing for them.

It's cold here too, like 100 miles from Rob. My central heating doesn't work (again) and I keep calling the repair guys. Not my problem, cos I live in an appartment but I already hd nine days without central heating this month

But now the sun shines into my appartment and it's a bit better now.

Detroit has been is in the same boat. Having a heatwave today though, in the 20s as I watch a fresh 6-7 inches of snow falling as I write this.
