GAS is getting the better of me
« on: January 09, 2009, 05:47:08 AM »
This bass is in the next town to mine and I keep looking at the auction and thinking "It not gonna cost much, why not bid"

I know its a bit of a crap shoot with Ibanez copies but I think I will ask the guy if I can take a personal look over the weekend.

70's Ibanez bass are pretty well made and quite collectible at the moment, If it stays low I don't think you will be dissapointed.

Looks great.
Price is incredibly low.
Don't be surpised if some of the controls of this bass don't do anything at all. In those days the Japanase often just put the knobs on for the looks.

I agree, some of the lawsuit basses can be fun to own at a really reasonable price in today's market.
