Gibson eb-2 bass choke switch
« on: February 24, 2009, 03:12:12 PM »
I have a -64 eb-2.
I have one problem, my bass choke switch is broken, the switch "knob" is gone. Have googled for ages now and haven't found anything..
Does anybody know if there is, and if so, where to get a new switch?

Thanks
Herman

Go to Home Depot or your local hardware store.  Go to the aisle with lamp switches and such things, and buy a push-button lamp switch.  Exact same thing that Gibson used is being sold in any hardware store in the US and Canada for about a buck or two.  Some of the newer ones use a plastic body, but you can find the metal ones easily as well.  Same switch - size, button, and all.  Good luck.
