Honestly I don't want to piss anyone off but it's just a '77, I'm not all that wound up over it. The pickups sucked on these things, most were terribley micro phonic and had to be replaced. I was there in '76 selling these things, they were a real problem. Unplayed and unopened ? the more i think about it that is not a plus.

Still, if I were a big T-bird fan, I might be checking my bank balance right now and figuring how long I could go without eating. 

As I said, this has been for sale for quite some time - which says to me the price is pretty high. I suspect you'd need some serious fat reserves...

I called the store today the owner Paul was not there so I'll call tomorrow the person I did talk to said it was Paul's bass and was legit, the bass is not in the store and is at Pauls house. I'll post when I find out more.

As previously stated, I think the guy is killing his chances at selling it unless he takes it out of the box. It's still a NOS bass, in the box or out. I wouldn't think having it in the case possibly under full string tension untouched for over 30 years can be good for it. If I can't play it, or at least SEE the damn thing, the checkbook stays in my briefcase. Betcha he wants a load for it. No thanks. No wonder why it's been for sale for a while, plus, he just says 'make offer'. What do you want for the thing??  He is probably getting a lot of low offers and wondering why he hasn't sold it.

I've always preferred brunettes, but I do have a soft spot for Farrah. We did go to the same junior high school, although we really didn't know each other beyond saying hello.

We were hoping to have apple pie for Christmas dessert but Fiona Apple didn't show up.
