No chromey goodness.  I think I've seen that bass before.  Possibly on TB.

Nice:)

 Oh I saw it................

Just my .02 here but I've alway felt 'Birds look better in a solid color or the traditional 'burst, the shape doesn't seem to lend itself to this kind of multi -striping to well. I think it's because the shape by itself is a strong statement and trying to make paint compete with it seems somehow wrong to me. As it was designed with a pickguard Thunderbirds are (to me) an elegant beautiful shape, there's been a few nicely painted ones but they're far and few between.
This one kinda misses the mark for me, and I have the feeling it looks much better in the pics than it does in the flesh................Aside from that I have 2 basses "out there" already the Nikki Bird and a BaCH, so my meager $$$ are going to be occupied for a little while. And I'm really thinking I'd like either a Hotwire Fenderbird or an RS Expibird after that................ :P

That Seattle Chick........

Well, looks like it will be getting cheaper for you in the mid term. In a reversal of the trend of the last years, the Euro value is currently crashing vs the mighty Dollar. Nothing like nationalizing a big chunk of bad debt to stabilize a currency - USA = United Socialists of America!!!
