I can't say I'm surprised by that.

I looked at some of the winner's other recent buys: 65 Fender Jag, 66 Epi Texan and some vintage Martins. Also looked at old feedback and a buyer from 2005 says "Thanks Chicago Music."

For a doubleneck Gibson from that era that was a good price. If this is indeed Chicago Music Exchange buying stuff "under cover", then they'll offer it for twice as much pretty soon. Perhaps that letter from the daughter professing to know nothing about the guitar of her father is a little tacky - scarcely see that a value-enhancing, rather value-diminishing as it raises more questions than it answers.
