not quite parallel with the bridge?

You're right, it's obvious on all three on Sweetwater's site plus their extra stock in Red and Inverness. I wonder why.

Maybe it is. But unnecessary, since the bridge is wide enough for proper intonation.

No, it's definitely the tailpiece. I printed out one of the large Sweetwater images and measured. The bridge is parallel to the pickups, the tailpiece is slightly farther away on the G string side.
