My bass playing co-worker and I are marveling at that dangerously pointy beast! At least nobody will try to hog your part of the stage. Watch your eyeballs! Looks like a good candidate for a pair of black soapy TB pups.

Age has nothing to do with it. As long as you can visualize yourself playing it, why not?

And Mark may have the right idea. Think of this as your entry ticket to a Manowar tribute band.  :)

Perfect idea!  There's nothing like a tough, impenetrable poly finish for those times when you're running around the stage in assless chaps, slathered up in "body sheen".   ;)

Yes Uwe, men our age need a bass like this for those times when pesky things like broccoli and seeds get caught in our teeth as our gums recede.  A wise investment for playing heavy metal and simultaneously assuring good dental hygiene.   ;D

Uwe, i  think you are younger than I am (58) and I have spent most of the morning arguing about babies and finishing the breakup with the 24 year old model (she commutes a lot and her return flights are going to be a lot quicker!!!) Not the young lady in my picture = thats my daughter and she hates the thought of my now ex G/F just a year older than she is!

GO FOR IT!!!!! Too old = pish!!!

Isn't rock and roll completely about sixteen tear olds? love it.

Nice bass, Uwe!! I really like it, but I would have liked one with yellow instead of green, or light blue! The razor inlay is brilliant!! I'm curious how your band will reacti!

You know, if nothing else you can use it as a large slingshot and launch waterballons at the crowd and your overactive guitar players.  ;)
