That looks great, those NRs are really a good bass, very solid and the new pickups are quite nice as well.

Price isn't unusual for a Gibson. But how did they manage to make a gold sparkle finish unattractive?

I actually kind of like it, but only in a "I'd pay $500 for an Epiphone version" kind of way.

I'd say the transparent pickguard ruins it.

Yes!

Also, almost all the sparkle finishes I've seen have been Fender shapes. This one takes some getting used to.
