A Tbird with a stoptail and three point.

He missed the 4 knobs.

The guy has embarrassingly little knowledge outside of his Norlin-era Gibson comfort zone.

Look at what he has to say about a 1960 Ric 375F ("Huh! apparently it's valuable!" and the unbelievable "and as far as the rest of it goes - regular Rickenbacker stuff") (07:13)

And a '96 360 TUR - apparently he hasn't seen a single Ric in the 35 years between 1973 to 2008 (09:35)

It's not those who write the laws that have the greatest impact on society.  It's those who write the songs.

Well, if "it makes the strings feel slinkier" it must be a good thing. The dreaded non-slinky feel of the strings has really held me back from playing TBirds all these years.

Apart from being unnecessary, the holy immaculate three-point/stop-tail combo is butt-ugly.
We've taken too much for granted ... and all the time it had grown ...
From techno seeds we first planted ... evolved a mind of its own ...

It's not about him or his descriptions. I don't even listened. It's about the basses,

Chris wants to enlist Trogly's sparse yet succinct, charismatic depth of perception & analysis for Warwick. He's no less than stalking him, you just wait ...

PS: Just noticed your new avatar personal text, Herr Decker, have I christened you?

You must be unflappable. Five seconds of his voice is enough to make me shudder.

I have this name here for many, many years, thanks to you! At least five years, maybe more.

Someone over at Talkbass bought the NR Tbird with the Tune-o Matic tailstop.
Looks like a very amateuristic job on that tailstop...

It's as crucial a modification as a pair of pontoons on an F-16 jet fighter. Form follows function - not.

I find silly fake stuff like this laughable, sorry.

But of course the strings will feel slinkier that way.

They haven't used that stop tail since the ES Les Paul Bass. Maybe they should sell them with a Slinky.......
There's no such thing as gravity, the earth just sucks!!

Basvarken

Yeah it's silly. And yeah it's a mismatch.
But what really bothers me is the sloppy craftsmanship.
It is not parallel to the bridge and not aligned properly.

I like the way they're just goofing around and putting out some silly stuff .
Just about everything else coming down the pike is mindless assembly line work .
