Magnificently different.
I like the design

Except for the braided pickup wire that is on the outside. It ruins the über clean looks (imho). I understand that the pickup can move freely. It is attached to the body via magnets.
But I would have designed a slot for that wire to sink into.

It's fun to look at, but (IMHO) not very practical for anything more than bedroom noodling.

Sounds good, looks cute, but not $3K cute. The free-floating pickup is a nice idea.

I might argue that it's not a "radically different" design, but merely a "bad" variation of a very standard design.

I read about this some years ago in a British guitar magazine and I do like the whole story behind it.
