I'm pretty sure that it was the world wide broadcast of this particullar performance which made people go "Who is that INCREDIBLE bassplayer?"

In more ways than one, Paladino made his mark that day.

I still get goosebumps when I hear these songs, Young had such a wonderful voice and Paladino had such incredibly melodic basslines.

Paul Young's voice was already shot back then. Makes my tonsils hurt when I hear him struggle through these songs...

Man - Paul Young could SING and Pino was incredible even back then. I remember them on the same bill as Power Station back in the mid-80's. Great seeing some footage again.
