I doubt if I could think of anyone better than Jason Momoa for that skit.  Especially if you know him mostly from his pre-Aquaman stuff such as Stargate Atlantis.
It's not those who write the laws that have the greatest impact on society.  It's those who write the songs.

That was great! Uwe, are you studying 'Murica this week or something?

I'm the "woman" at this house, NGL here, being spoiled a little is a nice change - I haven't mowed the lawn in 3 years now, Frank won't let me, he loves running the mower that much.  :-*

I've been on CNN drip feed for the last 72 hours, no joke.

That's not healthy! Everything on cable news is so sensationalized now, I can't stand it. Both sides - bonkers!

CNN is a hi-gloss machine, but it's extremely well-done. There is a reason why it runs in every hotel room on earth. But I don't have much of a choice, the two US news channels I get on my TV are CNN and CNBC (there used to be Fox News, but that is no longer offered). And remember: Associated Press and Fox News called Arizona days ago, CNN still hasn't (last I looked this afternoon our time). They at least attempt a semblance of neutrality although you always know where they are coming from.

CNBC looks very "handicraft" to me.  I like my news media with some professionalism. That is why I read Germany's leading conservative newspaper (Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung or FAZ) and - just like Steve Bannon, if for different reasons - the  unashamedly left wing British GUARDIAN as dailies.

I sometimes watch RT for its nay-saying dishonesty it so valiantly tries to camouflage. That is fun.  ;D Afterwards I visit Breitbart for some more humor.

Yes, sourpuss, it is!

SNL's writers have always been hit and miss, some brilliance among the misses, but that bit would have rated a D in a high school creative writing class.

Having hunky-dunky Jason Momoa play the part was much of the fun. I like him as an actor, he has a mischievous sparkle in his eye.

And my (remaining) male hormones were triggered by the mock-CAT look of these household appliances, I'll admit it. The ultra-heavy dishwasher door was magic!

I've had CNN on for most of the last three days. Although the repetition got old, there's no network that can touch it when it comes to accuracy and keeping current. Fantastic work on their part, and it has to feel like a breakthrough and vindication for them after the negativism and name-calling heaped on them by the outgoing administration over the last four years.

My wife and I watched the SNL routine and loved it!  Great stuff. I try to watch SNL every week, and they're definitely up and down in their stuff, but when it's great, it's really great.

There are no unbiased news networks in America.

I haven't watched SNL in years, maybe decades. All the late night talk shows have become infected with political overtones. I am missing Johnny Carson.
