A Little Sister was born in the Brooks family
« on: October 21, 2020, 06:59:05 AM »
A little sister is born in the Brooks family!
Built by me.
It's a gift from my youngest sister to her husband (check the 12th fret inlay).
The tailpiece was made by my other sister, who is a goldsmith.
So it's really a family affair 😉

- One piece chambered mahogany body
- Grade AAAA bookmatched Quilted Maple
- One piece Mahogany set neck. Glued in
- Amber burst
- Rosewood fretboard with mother of pearl inlays
- Nickel silver frets
- PRS style faux maple binding
- 24 3/4" scale
- Graph Tech Tusq nut ?
- Schaller tune-o-matic bridge gold plated
- Double action spokewheel trussrod
- Tonerider Vintage P90s with gold covers
- Schaller slothead tuners gold plated
- Bourns mini pots
- Switchcraft toggle switch
- Cornell Dublier Tone capacitor
- Handmade gold plated tail piece by Pauline van den Broek.

Beautiful. I like the tailpiece a lot. Does Pauline take orders?

Thank you guys.

Yes, Pauline does take orders.
Most of the time it's for jewelery.
But she told me she really enjoyed making this piece of hardware very much. So I guess she wouldn't mind making another one ;-)
