Hello all - I've published an interview with Gibson artist Dave Kiswiney - he talks about his Gibson basses (including his modded Ripper, almost unique active single pickup Victory and Explorer basses, and medium scale and 5-string Heritages)

Hope you find it interesting (I certainly did!). it's over 5 pages, starting here:

Nice and interesting! Haven't read it all, yet, but I will do soon.

That's so great he got to have Gibson customize many of his instruments. Couldn't have happened to a nicer fellow from what I can tell. Thanks for continuing to put out top notch materials Jules.
Contrary to what James Bond says, a good Gibson should be stirred, not shaken.

Great interview Jules! I've seen the Youtube-interview before and that already showed what a nice man Dave seems to be. Also I would'nt have thought he'd still would be so much into Gibson he'd get a special EB made for him with active electronics when I actually have seen live videos of him playing it .

Really enjoyed that. Talk about "the good old days" when there was work for rock bands/musicians 7 days a week. He had some good "right place/right time" moments, but as they say - luck favors the prepared! Sounds like a nice, down to earth guy. Midwesterner, go figure.  ;)

I enjoyed that.Good work as ever, thanks Jules.
Louder bass!.
