Utterly unrelated to the subject of this thread, but who wants a soggy donut?

I doubt anyone does. However, steamed clams are quite tasty!

But beware of those opening up too early.

That sounds unhealthy to me.

It continues to baffle me why anyone does meth at all.  I saw one doctor on TV, for example, explain that just taking it once can cause irreversible damage.

Another bad German invention, sigh!

Serious people write today that the victory-frenzy of the early Blitzkrieg was Pervitin-fuelled.

I was under the impression that meth was invented by the Germans in the 1930s.  But this Wikipedia article I just looked at says it can be traced back to 1893.  My knowledge of meth's background is sketchy.

Gwyneth Paltrow seems to be having a problem remembering actors she has been in movies with.  And one of them was Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury.  This article notes that she has a special talent for being clueless.

This is how she found out she was in the movie Spiderman: Homecoming.

I forgive her for not being quite Marvel Universe-savvy. If you're not into this stuff, they all must look the same to you. That Spiderman scene could have ended up in five other films as well the way the Marvel franchise has been flooding the market in recent years.
