I used to watch Jeopardy every day but haven't for the last couple of months, so I missed this completely. She won $88K during her four day run as champion, including $1K on the fifth day when she lost.

First day full show is on YT, at least for now.

The story is that she had a medical emergency during the last show - a blood sugar thing apparently - which caused her to become almost incoherent at one point. After they got that straightened out, she finished the show out of respect for the other contestants, but was clearly not running on all eight cylinders.

Is she still on the site...?

Is that your answer, in the form of a question?

She's no longer an active contestant. There's this bit still up, and she's shown on the Tournament of Champions Tracker in 12th place so there's a chance she may be back. She would have to be in the top 15 at the end of the season.

Caught this online and thought some here who may not have seen it would appreciate it. She confirmed what I was thinking about her appearance.

Contrary to what James Bond says, a good Gibson should be stirred, not shaken.

I'm surprised that she was surprised about viewers' intense reactions to the contestants. that's been happening ever since the rise of social media. Good article, though.

Good girl. Has held up nicely. The brain among The Runaways. Not that she had a lot of, errrm, contestants there back then ...

And yup, she does look like David Bowie's and Diane Keaton's daughter. I like that she does not have the appearance of someone who spent the last 20 years running from one plastic surgery appointment to another.

No one ever looked better with a T-Bird (or Ric or Jazz Bass), a knotted blouse & those huge flares she wore. Plus she was lovably limber!  8)

Fowley - always a chap with a keen eye - recruited her as the bass playeress after he had seen her dance at a club.
