Interesting in the same way a dose of the clap would be interesting.  ;D  Shame about that. If you're going to add a pickup, fine, but at least try to make it attractive, and don't expect to get the same price as an unmodified one.

That is maybe one of the cleaner ways of adding a P pickup down the bridge end of a Gibson bass, but it still doesn't look right. I imagine the mudbucker and P pickup don't exactly blend nicely either.

Odd to see the price like that. A lot of Japanese Ebay sellers knock the price down over aesthetic damage, if nothing else. Fullscale modifications should be factored in.

Maybe a daft suggestion, but maybe the seller doesn't realise the P pickups are a mod at all? Their description is fairly minimal.

Not likely he does not know what he's got. The 'seller' has only 63 sales on ebay but has about 10.000 items in his store - seems like it's only electric basses and guitars. Probably another case of multiple ebay accounts for the same instrument collection.
You also find minty 50's/60's gibsons from these sellers with equally minimal or odd description.
