SB 400 in the Netherlands
« on: October 11, 2022, 08:32:08 AM »
I really want one, but this year I already spent some savings on basses. Just if you can't afford it, one pops up haha! Maybe other people who are interested?

Bad timing for me too.
Gotta save some for the gas bill at the end of the year... :o

Nice bass at a very decent price. I don't think that the upper cover/handrest was there originally, though.

I bought an SB-300 just before moving back to Europe a few months ago. The sound is different and quite enjoyable IMO, but the neck profile is weird for me, so it gets the least playing time - barely any - out of all of my basses. Shame...

It isn't even a Gibson handrest. It a 7ender handrest...  ;)

The pickup surrounds and control plate don't seem to be original. Still a nice little bass.

I think they are original. Just extremely oxidized.

Not a bad bass at all. Verges on Jazz Bass territory in sound, not something you generally find with Gibson basses.

It would match my SB-300. Maybe I should bring it back from Holland,  going down there in a couple of weeks.
