My ´63 got an upgrade, fuzz face circuit instead of the maestro. OK, so i don´t use the fuzz a lot, but it´s the best playing four string bass I have ever had!

A fuzz face would be a major improvement. But fuzz doesn't really work well with a mudbucker.
