:o Of course, you could have also taken a stick and banged it in time on some piece of metal or some animal skin over a hollow piece of wood just to see how that works ...

I doubt whether the Rhythmicon would have really conquered the dance floors.

It's supposed to create polyrhythms. You know, the thing white people can neither wrap their mind nor their legs around.
