Festive greetings to all at LBO!  8)

As Kenny and quite a few others may know that I joined up here for "Bass Interest" and
because Kenny has a Peter Cook!
There aren't that many around. :)

A lot of you would also be aware that I started a blog - mainly about bass but some guitar.

Five years down the road, I have now reached my 200th post!!

I have created a directory of some of the more popular features, to make it easier to search
for what you may be interested in.

If you go here:

all will be explained. :)

Hope you all have a great holiday and wish you all a healthy and prosperous new year.

Cheers. :)

Thanks Kenny.
I'm off to see Peter again, in the new year - he is having one of his guitars off me
and we are to go through some of the stuff from his loft!!
Really looking forward to it.

Merry Christmas to you and yours. :)

Kenny - Hi. :)

Yep! :)

I thought it only right.

When you think about it, he made these things for other players, so once they
were gone, they were gone.

I pass on messages about instruments I find and when I saw this Axis Guitar - I just
had to have it and sent him the pics.

His response - "You lucky, lucky B#~=+r"!!!!

He did as If I would sell it but at the time I wasn't keen.

He hasn't been well over the last couple of years (much better now) and during
a chat about the feature I did with Lars, he said "any chance of you letting me have that Axis?"
I cracked under pressure.
It is truly beautiful - I know he will be over the moon!

Will keep you all posted - I am going to see him in a few weeks.

Cheers. :)

Hi to all on LBO.

I am still very much around but have been very busy this year.

For those that are interested - Kenny, in particular - the Peter Cook meet up has yet to happen.

Long story short - Peter has been not at his best but is still very much with us and is undergoing
more treatment.

We have pencilled in sometime in August, when we will meet up and I will hand over the guitar.
The other thing is - and he and I covered this, some years ago, is for me to have access to his
archive/old notes/drawings etc.
A lost of history, spead out over the dining table.

It has been a long time coming but I think we are getting close.

Kenny - I'll keep you posted.

I will try to pop in on a more regular basis and keep up with what's going on.

Cheers. :)
