FWIW, MF is having one of their 15% off sales. Gibson and other major brands are always excluded but I've read elsewhere that calling and asking will get you an extra 15%, even off sale or closeout prices. Apparently doing it automatically would violate their MAP agreements, so you have to call.

Yep - you always get extra % off (most things, but usually NOT things that are already on a deep discount) when you call (and always free shipping, even to Canada, which is rare) if you just call vs order online.
