Going to buy a set of HB6 - 3/8'' Ultralite Tuners

...and a 2 Point SuperTone Bass Bridge.

What finish best gives it that vintage vibe?

Got that exact combo on a '67 EB0.

And yes, a vote for nickel!

Good to know that supertone bridge fits the EB-0. I have a '69 that I think I'll put that one in. Did you notice any great improvement in the intonation?

Bear in mind now, that I used this on a project (last christmas) for a fretless EB0, from 1967.
I have to say that I love the bar bridge, I just did not have a bridge for this project.
I have another ´67 EB3, with the bar - no problems with intonation - but I dislike the tilting behavior.
It installs easy, looks good and does not tilt.
It adjusts easy, and I love that you can adjust the string spacing.

The only negative, it does look a bit.. erm.. bulky? compared to the bar.
This is because, at least on my ´67, the neck angle calls for a lot saddle adjustment, they do stick up high.
I pick with fingers in the neck region, so no problem.

Sounds as it should too, not sure if the tone improved, but sounds good. Solid, that´s for sure.
