One of the greatest Arias also happens to use a German libretto. Here's a good rendition.

I love this Danny Kaye movie excerpt - describing how movies work.  The man was a genius - I miss him.

German name tie-in at about 4:15.

Sounds like a German vocals AC/DC! Accept's Udo Dirkschneider comes to mind as well.



Not a bad singer at all, but if you're singing German with that high-pitched a voice, you lose a lot of what the language transports.
