I wasn't even aware of the controversy (since I've never watched American Idol and rarely eat at McDonald's) but it looks like the matter
has been settled. It's about as obvious as a ripoff could be, you have to wonder how the lawyers missed this one. Oh well, hopefully Devo will get royalties under the "mutually agreeable terms", or mybe a chunk of cash.
