RIP Storm Thorgerson

Storm Thorgerson died today.
He and his legendary album sleeve designs have been a huge inspiration for me as a graphic designer (and musician).

I was saddened to read this last night. His album cover designs were always at the top of my list of favorites.

Ok, so a kneeling blonde, a Doberman and a male butt are now considered art. Plus a can of beer.

As sad as that is, any Scorpions album cover is going to be the artistic highlight of that album.
