Psycho Bass Guy

I've always loved Warren Haynes' vocals as much as his guitar playing. This cover is spectacular. Like Faith No More's version on "Epic," the Mule put their stamp all over the song while still keeping it Sabbath. That Newstead was playing bass (and doing a damn fine job of it) was just icing on the cake. Thanks for posting it.

Haha, I expected this to be a halfway political rant because of the subject line "Govt. War Pigs".

That's cool. What I find impressive about this, besides the playing, is how Woody can play his EB2 through an ampeg stack without feedback.

Contrary to what James Bond says, a good Gibson should be stirred, not shaken.

I never liked that song too much with Sabbath, but I like this Mule version better than the original.

Do yourselves a favor guys: buy that DVD.
Lots of great bass players playing great songs with a great band in a tribute to a late great bass player!

I'll have your second one if you don't want it... ;)

Great version - got to see Woody and Haynes with ABB at the Hammersmith Odeon back in the early 90's - not sure if GM has played the UK...?
