I don't recognize the sellers name. I'm watching to see if it gets the opening bid. Two of the ten black ones are accounted for between me and Dennis.

Make that 3, i SOLD MINE
It takes a very deep-rooted opinion to survive unexpressed

Due to some circumstances here, I didn't get off my ass in time to buy Mark's black one. Scott has one of the black ones, maybe two.

Of the three colors, black is my favorite, then white, then blue.

I listed it Friday before leaving for the weekend. On returnung I find an email from Ebay saying:

"Unfortunately, we had to remove your listing because of the following:

You placed the brand name "Gibson" in the listing though it is not the brand name of the item for sale."

So I just now relisted it. And my starting bid there was a bit optimistic, so I lowered it to where it should be attractive enough.

Those of you that have been paying attention might remember that I bought a TH-2 soon after they became available and didn't like it because it was thicker and heavier than the TH-1, so I sold it in the classifieds here. The purchaser apparently didn't like it either and sold it on Ebay a few weeks later for a substantial profit. So this time I'm cutting out the middle-man.

BTW, I also own a black one that came from Hornisee.

Ah, you have Robert's black one. He regrets selling, it by the way. If you ever sell that one, can I have dibs on it?

The black one I actually use. I have changed the tuners (Res-o-lite) and pickup (S-D soapbar) since I got it.

Denis

Out of curiosity, were the two basses different in some way, other than the color?
Which model Res-o-lites did you go with?

GB640 reverse wind tuners. Robert had already replaced the tuners with a set that was styled the same as the vintage T-birds used, so it was a direct replacement, and no, it didn't make a noticable difference in the weight of the neck.

And other than color, the basses are like peas in a pod.

That's weird.
It made a huge difference on the BaCHbird Deluxe that I assembed.
The Res-o-Lites weigh about 30% less than normal tuners.
Together with the strapholder on the heel, it sure cured the neck dive on that particular BaCHbird.
