What was nice is that I live only a couple miles from the airport.  The B-17 came around the end of my apartment on final approach, so I not only saw it pretty close from there, but also heard those engines roaring.  For a $2 donation and a couple hours in the heat, it was a great way to spend my Saturday.  The only thing missing was my girlfriend, who probably would have loved it.
