I was browsing through the website of a Dutch parts company. I was looking at P and J covers when I saw this:

Is that a Gibson cover? If so, it's new to me. I guess most parts they sell are just AllParts.

It's not new Chris. They've been selling these for quite a while.

I have one of these on my semi-acoustic BaCH bass.
And I've sold a few to customers of numberoneguitars.

They're not an exact replica. But they're very close.
The only thing is they're not quite high enough. I've solved that by using little spacers underneath the "feet".

My old EB3 has those spacers too!

They need to be a little higher than the ones Gibson used.
Of course it also depends how high you set your bridge.

If they did one with the rounded lugs like the early 60's style I'd be right in there!

You can buy these in chrome, gold, and anodized black from guitarpartsresource. If only someone would seriously start making the neck covers, I know there are a lot of people who would buy them up (myself included.)

The chrome is a little lacking compared to original Gibson parts.  They're not polished as much as the OG ones were before plating, but at least they are available.

Is the one from guitarpartsresource more accurate than the one on the Dutch site or is it the same one? Is it higher or does it also need the spacers to make it the right height?

Everybody is selling the same one AFAIK.  Mine is off EBay USA, it also needs spacers.  Besides the bend doesn't match the original TBird top radius.
