That 911 was/is a landmark of auto styling and innovation.  Ferry Porsche made a big imprint.  R.I.P.

He somewhat progressed from his more early designs.

We've taken too much for granted ... and all the time it had grown ...
From techno seeds we first planted ... evolved a mind of its own ...

As I recall he (Porcshe) designed a variation of the Tiger tank's turret.........
My fave thingie was the Porsche 914 tho  ;)

BTW it's pronounced as two syllables, poor - sha.

More Pore- (as in skin pore or "more") and -shuh (as in Shetland or shell).

But us Krauts think it très cute when you yanks pronounce it in Janis Joplin style "Porshee" or "Porsh".  :gay:

It's not gay! That particular mispronounciation REALLY grates on me tho.
